He was a central participant in the shooting attack in Migdalim in January 2005.
Together with Amin Koka, he disguised himself as an IDF soldier, wore military uniforms, and stopped an Israeli vehicle to carry out the attack. After stopping the vehicle, they opened fire on it, killing soldier Yosef Atiya and severely injuring officer Ariel Buda, who later died of his wounds. Two other soldiers were lightly injured in the same incident.
