Amer Ali Abdul-Latif Tanbour

Member of the cell responsible for the shooting attack at Ariel Junction on October 24, 2007. The cell members conducted preliminary surveillance and observations in the area before the attack. They then acquired a GMC vehicle with Israeli license plates for carrying out the shooting. During the attack, they fired at civilians and soldiers, moderately-to-seriously wounding one soldier. They then fired at passing vehicles, which resulted in minor injuries to one civilian and damage to additional vehicles. After the attack, they fled in their vehicle to the village of Jama'in, where they set the vehicle on fire, and escaped toward Nablus in a pre-arranged taxi. He was released from prison on February 27, 2025, after 17 years of imprisonment, as part of the seventh phase of the hostage deal.
