Muhammad Sinwar Ibrahim Hassan

Commander of the military wing of Hamas, responsible for Hamas activities in the Khan Yunis area. During the Second Intifada, he was involved in planning attacks and launching rockets towards Israel. His name is also linked to the kidnapping of soldier Gilad Shalit. He has survived multiple assassination attempts by Israel. Together with his brother Yahya Sinwar, and the commander of the military wing, Muhammad Deif, he planned and executed the surprise attack on Israel on October 7, 2023.
