Ibrahim Ahmad Salem Sarahna

He was recruited by his family member Mahmoud Sarahneh for terrorist activity due to his Israeli citizenship, familiarity with Jerusalem, and his driving skills. On March 29, 2002, he led a suicide bomber to a supermarket in Kiryat Yuval in Jerusalem. The explosion killed security guard Haim Smadar and the girl Rachel Levy. Two days later, he led another terrorist to Jerusalem. The cars were stopped at a sudden checkpoint in Jerusalem, and the terrorist activated the charge. Border Guard policeman Tomer Mordechai was killed. In May 2002, after Operation Defensive Shield in the West Bank, Sarahneh drove 2 suicide bombers to blow themselves up in Rishon LeZion. Elmar Gavrielov and Gary Tauzhniaski were killed in the attack. He was released from prison on February 15, 2025, after 22 years of imprisonment, as part of the sixth phase of the hostage deal.
