On March 29, 2002, he led a suicide bomber to a supermarket in Kiryat Yuval in Jerusalem. The explosion killed security guard Haim Smadar and the girl Rachel Levy.
Two days later, he led another terrorist to Jerusalem. The cars were stopped at a sudden checkpoint in Jerusalem, and the terrorist activated the charge.
