Amjad Mustafa Al-Najjar Hamed

Hamas operative and brother of Ahmed Najjar, a Hamas commander who was released in the Shalit deal and deported abroad. During his interrogation, he admitted to passing on instructions from his brother, as well as weapons and funding for the activities of a terrorist cell operating in the Silwad area. The cell is responsible, among other things, for carrying out the shooting attack that occurred at the Shvut Rachel intersection in June 2015. In this attack, Malachi Rosenfeld was murdered, while he was on his way home in Kochav Hashachar with three friends, returning from a basketball game. He was released from prison on January 25, 2025, after 9 years of imprisonment, as part of the second phase of the hostage deal. According to the terms of the deal, he was permanently expelled from the West Bank.
