Taher al-Nunu

Media adviser to the head of Hamas’s Political Bureau. He often serves as a spokesperson for the movement’s positions in international forums and media outlets. Born in Gaza City in 1970, he holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Al-Azhar University in Gaza. He joined Hamas in 1990 and has since held several roles, including head of the organization’s media office in the Gaza Strip. In 2019, he was appointed media adviser to the head of the Political Bureau.
