The offenses of which he was convicted are: military training, causing death intentionally, placing an explosive charge, forging and distributing documents, membership in an unrecognized organization, shooting at people, attempted murder, weapons–ammunition–explosives. Sentenced to life imprisonment. He was released on October 13, 2025, after 21 years in prison, as part of the deal to free the living hostages from the Gaza Strip. According to the terms of the deal, he was permanently expelled from the West Bank.
