A terrorist organization that constitutes the military wing of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine. The military wing was previously called the Red Eagles Brigades, and its name was changed in 2001 to that of the PFLP Secretary-General, Abu Ali Mustafa, after he was killed in a targeted assassination. The organization operates in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, and its fighters cooperate with Hamas and are part of the joint operations room of the fighting factions in Gaza under the leadership of Hamas.
