Member of a terrorist cell responsible for the 2016 Jerusalem bus 12 bomb attack.
The attack injured 20 civilians, one seriously, seven moderately, and the rest lightly.
He served a prison sentence between 2004 and 2007 for involvement in planning attacks.
His investigation revealed that he began making explosive devices after watching instructional videos online and using his friends affiliated with Hamas to try to obtain explosives to make the bomb.
When the bomb was assembled, they worked together to recruit the terrorist and prepare him for the attack.
At the same time, he and his friends were planning additional terrorist acts and attempting to obtain weapons and explosives.
In October 2015, he went with his partner to the road near the settlement of Tekoa in Samaria. There, the two carried out a shooting attack against an Israeli vehicle traveling toward the settlement, but the driver was not injured.
He was released from prison on January 25, 2025, after 8 years of imprisonment, as part of the second phase of the hostage deal.
A list of security prisoners and detainees designated for release as part of the hostage release deal, published on January 17, 2025 by the Israeli Ministry of Justice.
