Mohammad Majdi Mustafa al-Azza

Member of the terrorist cell responsible for the bomb attack on bus line 12 in Jerusalem in 2016. The attack injured 20 civilians, one seriously, seven moderately and the rest lightly. He assisted in preparing the bomb and recruiting additional terrorists, including the suicide bomber. He even expressed willingness to serve as a suicide bomber in a bomb attack, and planned with the cell members to begin planning another attack after the bus explosion. Sentenced to 30 years in prison. He was released from prison on January 30, 2025, after 8 years of imprisonment, as part of the third phase of the hostage deal. According to the terms of the deal, he was expelled from the West Bank.
