One of the accomplices in the murder of taxi driver Gregory Rabinowitz in 2009.
He and his accomplices entered Israel without permission in May 2009 with the intention of committing a robbery.
On the evening of May 10, he and his friends got into Grigori Rabinowitz's taxi. During the ride, he participated in the attack, which included tying Rabinowitz's hands with a seat belt and putting him in the trunk. He put pieces of cloth in his mouth, and together with his accomplices they beat him with fists and kicks in order to ensure his death.
According to his testimony, the motive for the murder was nationalistic, in revenge for the death of his relative Muhammad Abu Jahim, an Islamic Jihad operative who was killed in February 2007 by security forces.
During his interrogation, he also admitted to involvement in a shooting attack near the Jalma checkpoint and in planning additional attacks, including kidnapping soldiers and planting IEDs against IDF forces.
