Member of a terrorist cell that carried out an attack on bus line 142 in Tel Aviv in 2012.
He originally comes from Beit Liqiya in the Palestinian Authority, and received Israeli citizenship through family reunification.
He expressed his desire to fight alongside Hamas to Ahmed Musa, the head of the terrorist cell. After passing a "loyalty test" of placing a bag on an Israeli bus, he received an explosive device hidden in a bag of clothes from Musa.
On the day of the attack, he boarded bus line 142 to Tel Aviv and placed the device under the seat. After getting off the bus, he called Musa to confirm that the bomb was ready, and the device was activated by Musa remotely.
The attack injured 28 civilians, three of whom were critically injured.
During his interrogation, he confessed to carrying out the attack, and was sentenced to 25 years in prison.
