In February 2010, he and his brother entered Israel through a breach in the separation fence near Beitar Illit. They stole a car from Beit Shemesh and waited in the area of Beit Jamal Monastery.
When they spotted Neta Blat-Shorek walking alone, they stabbed her to death.
In December 2010, he attacked Christine Loken and Kay Wilson in the Mata forest near Beit Shemesh, west of Jerusalem, together with his accomplice.
The two approached the women asking for water, attacked them with a knife, and stole their money. They tied their hands with their shoelaces, gagged them, and forced them to kneel on all fours. The two begged for their lives, but then the attackers stabbed them multiple times.
Christine was murdered on the spot. Kay Wilson was stabbed 13 times, her sternum and several ribs were broken, her lungs and diaphragm were punctured, and her shoulder was dislocated. The attackers returned a few minutes later to confirm the killing. They stabbed Wilson once more in the chest. But after a while she regained consciousness and found herself among bushes in the forest. Exhausted, she dragged herself until she reached a parking lot where a family found her and called the authorities. She was hospitalized at Hadassah Ein Kerem in critical condition, and survived.
A DNA sample from her pocketknife led to the capture of the terrorists.
He was also convicted of aggravated rape in July 2009, when he tied his victim's hands and raped her at knifepoint in a cave near the Beit Jamal Monastery.
He was sentenced to two life sentences and an additional 60 years in prison.
