Together with his partner, he murdered Reuven Shemerling, in Kafr Qassem, on the eve of Sukkot, October 4, 2017.
In September 2017, he entered Israel to work without permission.
He began working in a coal warehouse in Kafr Qassem, managed by Shemerling, and together with his partner Muhammad, they decided to kill their employer.
According to the plan, Muhammad led the deceased to the room under a false pretext and distracted him, and Kamil stabbed him from behind, in the left shoulder. The deceased tried to defend himself with a chair in the room, but Muhammad pushed him and hit him with a fan, while Kamil continued to stab him. Later, Muhammad brought a pickaxe that was near the door of the room, and the two beat Shemerling until he collapsed on the floor.
After that, they showered, changed their clothes, left the place and drove to their place of residence.
