He admitted that he was one of the planners of the attack, decided on its execution, and worked on recruiting suicide bombers.
After recruiting the bombers, he personally handed them explosive belts and was present when they were instructed on how to operate them.
After receiving the briefing, he gave the two bombers a sum of about 200 shekels to fund their travel expenses to the attack location.
He was sentenced to two life terms.
