Hamas operative. Convicted of involvement in the suicide bombing that occurred on February 4, 2008, in Dimona. In the attack, a civilian was killed, and 30 others were injured. He admitted that he was one of the planners of the attack, decided on its execution, and worked on recruiting suicide bombers. After recruiting the bombers, he personally handed them explosive belts and was present when they were instructed on how to operate them. After receiving the briefing, he gave the two bombers a sum of about 200 shekels to fund their travel expenses to the attack location. He was sentenced to two life terms. He was released from prison on January 25, 2025, after 16 years of imprisonment, as part of the second phase of the hostage deal. According to the terms of the deal, he was permanently expelled from the West Bank.
