In 2020, he entered Israeli territory through a breach in the fence, and then stabbed and seriously injured a man in his 30s at a construction site in Rosh HaAyin. He was convicted, based on his confession, of attempted murder in the circumstances of an act of terrorism, and other offenses. Sentenced to 21 years in prison.
