Tayyun Abdul Hadi Khalil Tayyun

Admitted during his interrogation that he was the one who committed the murder of Daniel Yacoubi in Qalqilya, in 2006. The murder took place in the garage of his brother, Ahmed Tayoun, after Daniel arrived to repair his car. While waiting for Ahmed, he attacked Daniel with a wrench and a stick until he collapsed to the garage floor. Ahmed Tayoun arrived at the scene after the act and found Daniel lying on the floor. Ahmed ordered his brother to burn the car along with the body. Tayoun put Daniel's body in the trunk, drove the car out of the village and set it on fire until it was completely burned. He was released on October 13, 2025, after 16 years in prison, as part of the deal to free the living hostages from the Gaza Strip. According to the terms of the deal, he was permanently expelled from the West Bank.
