Arrested on 01/12/1992. Released from prison in 2011 as part of the Shalit deal. He was arrested again in 2014 and returned to serve his sentence, life imprisonment. The main charges he was convicted of are: intentionally causing death; throwing stones; making an explosive or incendiary device; throwing a bomb. He was released from prison on February 27, 2025, as part of the seventh phase of the hostage deal. According to the terms of the deal, he was permanently expelled from the West Bank.
