Sami Suleiman Ibrahim Jaradat

Senior member of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad. Sentenced to life imprisonment for his involvement in the suicide attack at the Maxim restaurant in Haifa in October 2003, in which 22 people were murdered. He took part in sending the suicide bomber and was involved in sending other terrorists. He was released from prison on January 30, 2025, after 20 years of imprisonment, as part of the third phase of the hostage deal. According to the terms of the deal, he was permanently expelled from the West Bank.
