Member of the terrorist cell of engineer Muhi al-Din al-Sharif. Arrested in 2003 and sentenced to life imprisonment for murdering a suspected collaborator with Israel. Released in 2011 as part of the Shalit deal. Rearrested following his return to terrorist activity. The main charges he was convicted of are: murder by hostile acts; assault other than on a public servant; membership in an unrecognized organization; military training. He was released from prison on February 27, 2025, as part of the seventh phase of the hostage deal. According to the terms of the deal, he was permanently expelled from the West Bank.
