Arrested on 30/04/2002. Released from prison in 2011 as part of the Shalit deal, rearrested in 2014 and returned to serve his sentence of two life terms. The main charges he was convicted of are: intentional homicide; affiliation; attempted murder; possession of a bomb. He was released from prison on February 27, 2025, as part of the seventh phase of the hostage deal. According to the terms of the deal, he was permanently expelled from the West Bank.
