He carried out a stabbing attack in the settlement of Bat Ayin in 2009. The attack killed the boy Shlomo Nativ, and injured another boy. On April 2, 2009, he entered the town of Bat Ayin while disguised as an ultra-Orthodox Jew. He attacked two boys with an axe: Shlomo Nativ, 13, who was murdered, and another boy who was lightly injured. The town's emergency squad shot at him, but he was not hit and managed to escape. He was arrested about two weeks later, on April 16, by security forces. During his interrogation by the Shin Bet, he confessed to carrying out the attack. He handed over the murder weapon that was used to carry out the attack and remained hidden at the scene. He was sentenced to life imprisonment.
