Muadh Abu Ramuz Said Yaqoub

Arrested on 08/13/2004. The main charges he was convicted of are: attempted murder; conspiracy to intentionally cause death; membership in an unrecognized organization. Sentenced to 18 years in prison. Released from prison in 2011 as part of the Shalit deal. He was rearrested in 2014 and returned to serve his sentence. His name was included in the list of prisoners scheduled for release from prison, as part of the hostage deal in 2025. According to the terms of the deal, he was supposed to be permanently deported from the West Bank. He refused to be released as part of the deal because he had only a few months left until the end of his sentence and wanted to avoid being deported abroad.
