Mohamad Takkoush

Secretary-General of Al-Jama'a al-Islamiyya - The Islamic group in Lebanon. Born in Beirut in 1973, married and father of four children. He is a student of Sheikh Faisal Mawlawi and holds a bachelor's degree in Islamic Sharia. He serves as an imam and preacher in mosques in Beirut. Throughout his career, he has held various organizational positions. Currently, he is a member of the International Union of Muslim Scholars, Vice President of the Islamic Education Association overseeing Iman Schools, a member of the Shura Council and the administrative office of the Association of Muslim Scholars, and a member of the Shura Council of the Islamic Group. He was elected Secretary-General of the group in 2022.
