Marwan Al-Barghouti

Marwan Hasib Ibrahim Barghouti is a politician, a member of Fatah’s Central Committee, and the leader of Tanzim, Fatah’s military wing during the Second Intifada. Under his leadership, shooting attacks and suicide bombings were carried out, resulting in the deaths of dozens of people. He was sentenced to five consecutive life terms and an additional 40 years in prison.
