Carried out a stabbing attack in Petah Tikva in 2017. The attack seriously injured a civilian. He planned, together with another Palestinian, to stab worshippers in a synagogue. The two filmed a video in which they swore allegiance to the Islamic State (ISIS) and declared their intention to harm Jews. On February 24, 2017, the day the two planned to carry out the attack, he decided to carry out the act alone, after his partner could not join him. He crossed the security fence into Israeli territory, arrived at a shawarma shop in Petah Tikva and stabbed an Israeli citizen several times. After thinking he had succeeded in murdering him, he continued to a nearby pizzeria and tried to stab the people there, but the pizzeria owner punched him and neutralized him. He tried to escape, but was caught by residents in the area. He was convicted of two attempted murders and sentenced to 28 years in prison.
