Attempted to carry out a stabbing attack at Gush Etzion Junction in February 2016. During the attack, Major Eliav Gelman was killed. On February 24, 2016, he ran towards people standing at the hitchhiking station at Gush Etzion Junction with a knife in his hand. He did not respond to calls from soldiers at the scene to stop. He didn't manage to stab anyone, but the soldiers who shot at him to neutralize him - accidentally also hit Major Eliav Gelman, who was at the scene. He was sentenced to 35 years in prison.
