The head of Tanzim in al-Ubeidiya. His cell carried out numerous shooting attacks, including one in 2001 on an Israeli vehicle, killing Lior Kaufman and wounding two others. In another attack, Moshe Dayan was killed. He was released from prison on January 25, 2025, after 22 years of imprisonment, as part of the second phase of the hostage deal. According to the terms of the deal, he was permanently expelled from the West Bank.
