A media figure in the Gaza Strip. His reports often serve Hamas' propaganda apparatus. Has worked at Hamas' Al-Aqsa channel since 2007 in roles of announcer, program host, and field reporter. From 2007 served as news manager, and since May 2022 as manager of the channel's news department. He has an MA in journalism and communication. He was previously involved in transmitting messages through Al-Aqsa channel from Hamas operatives in the Gaza Strip to operatives in Judea and Samaria. The operatives, arrested by the Shin Bet in early 2019, were instructed by their handlers from the Gaza Strip to carry out terrorist attacks in Judea and Samaria and Israel. Alongside his work at Al-Aqsa channel, he also serves as a reporter for the Qatari Al-Arabi channel. He also regularly updates independently on his social media about developments, daily life and the combat situation in northern Gaza, with emphasis on the Jabalia area.
