Commander of the cell that kidnapped and murdered the teenagers Gil-Ad Shaer, Eyal Yifrach, and Naftali Frankel in Gush Etzion in 2014. He planned the kidnapping, under the guidance of his brother, a senior Hamas commander who was deported to the Gaza Strip as part of the Shalit deal. He purchased the gun that the terrorists used to carry out the kidnapping and murder. He then helped bury the teenagers in an agricultural area near Halhul, removing evidence from the scene, and helping the two murderers escape from security forces.
