Carried out a stabbing attack on bus line 40 in Tel Aviv in 2015. The attack seriously injured 2 people, and moderately injured 2 others. On January 21, 2015, he arrived in downtown Tel Aviv, armed with a knife and a screwdriver. He boarded bus line 40, which was packed with passengers, and during the ride, he stabbed first the driver and then nine other passengers with the knife. He was arrested after being shot by security forces. In July 2015, he was sentenced to 28 years in prison. He was released from prison on January 25, 2025, after 9 years of imprisonment, as part of the second phase of the hostage deal.
