Georges Ibrahim Abdallah

A Lebanese citizen who was sentenced to life imprisonment in France in 1987 for his involvement in the murders of Israeli diplomat Yaakov Bar-Simantov and an additional American diplomat in the 1980s. Abdallah led a terrorist group affiliated with the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine. In 2024, a French court ordered his release after more than 36 years of imprisonment.
