Arrested on September 11, 1993, after participating in the 1993 Deir Balut attack. 2 soldiers were killed in the attack. Released in 2011 as part of the Shalit deal. In 2014, he was rearrested and returned to serve his sentence. The main charges he was convicted of are: intentional homicide; membership in an unrecognized organization; attempted murder; possession of a weapon. He was released from prison on February 27, 2025, as part of the seventh phase of the hostage deal. According to the terms of the deal, he was permanently expelled from the West Bank.
