Ali al-Hamid Rajab Dandis

Member of the cell that carried out a shooting attack in Bayt Kahil in the Hebron area in 2007. In the attack, two Israeli soldiers, David Rubin and Ahikam Amichai, were murdered while on a hike by 3 Palestinians. After the attack, he turned himself in to Palestinian General Intelligence in Hebron for fear of being captured by Israeli forces. About a month after the attack, the Palestinian court sentenced him to 15 years in prison. The Palestinian Authority announced at the time that it would not transfer him to the central prison in Jericho, apparently for fear that he would be arrested by Israel. He was captured in 2024 by Israeli security forces.
