Carried out a vehicular attack on Road 586 between Mevo Dotan and Hermesh in northern Samaria in 2018.
In the attack, Major Ziv Daus and Sergeant Netanel Kahalani were killed, and two additional soldiers were wounded.
The court determined that he deliberately ran over the soldiers with the intent to cause their death, and rejected his claim that it was a car accident.
According to the indictment, on March 16, 2018, he passed by the soldiers in his vehicle and decided to run them over to death.
He turned back, drove at a speed of about 70 km towards them, and ran them over.
He was sentenced to two life sentences and additional 50 years in prison.
He was released from prison on February 27, 2025, after 6 years of imprisonment, as part of the seventh phase of the hostage deal.
According to the terms of the deal, he was permanently expelled from the West Bank.
