He was involved in the execution of a suicide bombing in 2004, in which two Border Police officers, Menashe Komemi and Mumiyah Tayo, were murdered. Additionally, he transported a bomber to another failed suicide bombing. He was released on October 13, 2025, after 19 years in prison, as part of the deal to free the living hostages from the Gaza Strip. According to the terms of the deal, he was permanently expelled from the West Bank.
