Commander of Fatah's military wing in the Ramallah area. Convicted of murdering 12 Israelis in a series of suicide bombings during the Second Intifada, including the attack on the Seafood Market restaurant in Tel Aviv and the attacks in Neve Yaakov and Jaffa Street in Jerusalem. Sentenced to 13 life sentences. He was released from prison on February 15, 2025, after 22 years of imprisonment, as part of the sixth phase of the hostage deal. According to the terms of the deal, he was permanently expelled from the West Bank.
