The offenses for which he was convicted are: military training, causing death intentionally, possession of a firearm, membership in an unrecognized organization, manufacturing an explosive or incendiary object, shooting in a residential area, providing shelter, attempted murder, weapons/ammunition/explosives, conspiracy to cause death intentionally, service for an illegal organization. Sentenced to 40 years in prison. He was released on October 13, 2025, after 21 years in prison, as part of the deal to free the living hostages from the Gaza Strip. According to the terms of the deal, he was permanently expelled from the West Bank.
