A Hamas operative, resident of East Jerusalem. Sentenced to seven life sentences for transporting a terrorist who carried out the attack on the Hillel Cafe in Jerusalem in September 2003. Seven people were murdered in the attack, and 64 were injured. He was released from prison on February 27, 2025, after 20 years of imprisonment, as part of the seventh phase of the hostage deal. According to the terms of the deal, he was permanently expelled from the West Bank.
