Abdullah Adnan Yahya Sharbati

Member of a Hamas terrorist cell, the cell responsible for the suicide bombing on the bus Line 2 in Jerusalem in 2003. The attack killed 23 people, including 7 children, and injured over 130. He was recruited into the cell by Majdi Za'atari, with the aim of taking advantage of his possession of a driver's license and a vehicle with Israeli license plates. He was the one who bought the suicide bomber, Raed Misk, a black kippa, to camouflage him among the ultra-Orthodox passengers. On the morning of the attack, Misk arrived in the Abu Dis neighborhood, where Majdi and Sharbaty met him. The terrorist was driven to the Wadi Joz neighborhood, adjacent to the attack site, and was given shelter in a mosque in the neighborhood, where he was also instructed on how to activate the bomb. In the evening, Majdi Za'atari and Sharbaty arrived in the neighborhood and drove the terrorist to the bus station. He was released from prison on January 25, 2025, after 21 years of imprisonment, as part of the second phase of the hostage deal. According to the terms of the deal, he was permanently expelled from the West Bank.
