Sentenced to two life sentences for his involvement in terrorist attacks in which 12 Israelis were murdered and dozens were injured. Among other things, he was involved in the execution of the suicide attack on bus line 20 on Abba Hillel Street in Ramat Gan in July 1995. In the attack, 6 Israelis were murdered and dozens were injured. In addition, he was involved in the suicide attack on bus line 26 in the Ramat Eshkol neighborhood of Jerusalem in August 1995. In this attack, 5 people were murdered and dozens of people were injured. He was released from prison on February 27, 2025, after 29 years of imprisonment, as part of the seventh phase of the hostage deal. According to the terms of the deal, he was permanently expelled from the West Bank.
