A powerful official body, which is one of the main factors overseeing the activities of the Revolutionary Guards. Although the members of the office work alongside the regular command chain of the Guards, they are not directly subordinate to it, but rather report directly to the supreme leader and receive direct instructions from him. The office is responsible for overseeing the activities of the Guards in both routine and emergency situations, ensuring that their activities comply with religious law and the supreme leader's policies. Additional roles of the office include supervising the appointment and dismissal of key personnel within the Revolutionary Guards and providing religious and ideological training for those serving in the organization. Additionally, the office's commander is responsible for the political department and public relations of the Revolutionary Guards and serves as a representative on the organization's supreme military council. The office’s organizational structure includes a central command and various departments responsible for areas such as ideological training, coordination, human resources, planning and budgeting, and religious research. The office's role is to ensure that the Revolutionary Guards remain loyal to the principles of the Islamic revolution and the supreme leader and to serve as a mechanism for supervision and control over their activities at all levels.
