A Sunni Palestinian militia that fought in the Syrian civil war alongside the Assad regime, primarily in the Aleppo area. The group was established in 2013 by engineer Mohammad al-Saeed.
The brigade consisted mainly of Sunni Palestinian activists from the al-Nayrab refugee camp, numbering about 4,000 members. It included three battalions: the Jerusalem Lions Battalion, the Deterrence Battalion, and the Aleppo Lions Battalion.
In 2019, the brigade became part of the Fifth Corps of the Syrian Army as an autonomous brigade.
The brigade conducted attacks on Israel from Syrian territory, and in 2024, several of its fighters were killed in IDF strikes in Syria.
